Senator Ndume says Buhari has restored hope to Nigeria within 100 days

Mohammed Ali Ndume, the senate majority leader,  declared yesterday, that hope was restored to Nigeria within Muhammadu buhari's just concluded 100 days in office as president.

Ndume, who claimed that Nigeria was already heading towards a failed state before Buhari took over, asserted that the President, as a seasoned administrator, was mindful of the dangers in taking the wrong decision and coming back few days later to reverse such decision.
According to Ndume, “The change that Nigerians have witnessed with the coming on board of President Muhammadu Buhari has really brought hope because Nigerians have gotten to the point of hopelessness; everyone with me here will agree that Nigerians were virtually at the edge of hopelessness.

“The nation was at a brink of failure as predicted that Nigeria would have been a failed state by 2015. That could have happened if President Buhari did not become the president.”
Speaking at a media briefing  the Senate Leader stressed that the President was only being patient and calculative in order not to pick a minister that he will later drop in few months and hosted to mark the 100 days of President Buhari in office

Ndume said: “The first thing this government did was to bring back the confidence of the Nigerian masses to their leadership. Everybody is having that confidence that Nigeria has a leader they can trust, leader that they expect the desired change from.
“Honestly, the first thing the president addressed is the issue of security and I think that is the most important. First, he ordered the military command to relocate to Maiduguri. Second, he changes the service chiefs and thirdly, he charged them with the responsibility of making sure that this country is secured particularly the Northeast, we are all part of the progress made so far.

“The Nigerian security has made progress in that regard and that was because of Mr. President’s commitment.
“We have seen the president running around the neighbouring countries for them to come and put heads together to address the challenging situation. And we have seen the cooperation we have received from the governments of neighbouring countries and the result coming out from it. We have also seen the president running around and talking to whoever wants to listen in the international communities in terms of looking for support.”
Ndume called on Nigerians to be patient, saying they would soon begin to see Buhari return the country to where it should belong in the comity of nations.
I won't say it is a lie, because it is not a lie. President buhari has actually tried this 100 days, nepa is stable, security is stronger.. I'm actually amazed and surprised.  I only pray that it continues this way.
From all of this, we can see that change is  happening  in naija.
