The long awaited Unizik Okofia bad road in Nnewi currently under construction due to complaints from okofia SAG aspirant , by name Godwin Akwuobi, to the Governor of Anambra state.

It is with joy that Newsfaze wants to let the people of okofia and the students know that construction has started on okofia road, this was Confirmed by a reliable source.

The on going construction of the okofia road was initiated by a prudent move of one of the students, Akwuobi Godwin , who wrote a heart-melting letter which was personally delivered to the office of the state Governor, Chief Mmaduaburuchukwu Willlie Obiano on the 1st  of  september, 2016.


            Considering the fact that Godwin and the Governor are brothers by the virtue of their village and also the heart-melting letter sent personally.  This sparked a swift move of the Governor into action in response to the students` cry.

             On interview with Godwin, he wished to thank the Governor for his swift response, " i wish to thank my Governor , chief Mmaduaburuchukwu Willie Obiano on his swift response to the call and like i promised , on behalf of the students, we will support you on any of your political ambitions because you have really proven that you are a Father, not just to the people of Okofia but to Anambra State in general .  We look forward hoping that the construction would continue till its completed " , he said.

             This should be a very good news for the people of okofia and the students of okofia unizik. Before the construction , motorcycle riders collect more money from anyone going to okofia due to bad roads, they said it spoilt their motorcycles but we presume it would be better now.

Godwin has also written a letter to Professor Ahaneku, the Vice chancellor of the great institution , Nnamdi Azikiwe University on the issue of transport system in Okofia  and according to the dean of student affairs in unizik, something would be done about it and i believe Godwin would not rest until this is achieved.
