NEWSFAZE: GODWIN AKWUOBI PAYS A VISIT TO IGWE ORIZU III ON THE ISSUE OF INSECURITY

According to sources in Okofia Nnewi, Godwin Akwuobi; a student of College of health sciences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, paid a visit to Igwe Orizu III of Nnewi on the issue of insecurity in okofia, this visit was prompted by the students` complaint to him on series of attacks and attempt of rape.

Godwin Akwuobi, having the love and interest of the students at heart, decided to take a bold step towards beefing-up security in Okofia for the comfortability of the students.

On an interview with Godwin on the details of his visit to the palace, he said, “on my visit to palace of Igwe Orizu III of Nnewi, we met the prince, Prince Obianefo, the first son and the heir apparent to the throne, who welcomed us warmly and expressed his anger on such attacks on the students.

In the word of Prince Obianefo, he said ’you have done well in bringing the case to the palace’. He said that we have done well in bringing the case to the palace and he advised us on what to do to achieve the aim of our visit. Even as I carry out his advice,  I will also communicate the state governor;  Chief Willie Obiano to see if we could have street lights at the dark corners of Okofia. I also invite the SAG executives to join me on this to make Okofia safe and sound for the students of College of health sciences Okofia, UNIZIK.

I also acknowledge Mr. Obed for his assistance thus far, I therefore advise every student to stay safe, even as we work”.

From this, it is very clear that we still have good leaders in our Country; this is to be encouraged as it would bring envy and cause even more people to want to do or be better.
