In this case, No fewer than 10 persons missed death
by whiskers as the vehicle they were traveling in was hit by a truck in Oka-Akoko, Akoko South West Local Government Area of Ondo State.
According to an eyewitness, no life was lost but those involved sustained varied degrees of injuries(that is to be expected)
The accident was said to be the second recorded within one week.
It was gathered that the truck, coming from an opposite direction, ran into a commercial bus carrying passengers.
DAILY POST learnt that the timely response by officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, saved the day, as the victims were hurriedly rushed to a government hospital in the town.
The commission, however, impounded the truck while the driver was handed over to the police.
That was very lucky of everyone involved in d accident, I am very sure they would all give testimonies in their various churches.
I can say , the causes of accidents In our Nigeria of today is not just bad roads but stupidity of some drivers, impatience( thereby causing over -speeding with big trucks), poor checking and servicing of vehicles before taking them out on the road.
Poor obedience to rules and regulations of driving.
If Nigerian roads are okay and Nigerians keep what I have said in mind before carrying their vehicles out on the road, I don't think we would ever receive news of accidents happening in our country.
