Lawyer accused of sexually assaulting nine-year-old-girl

Sometimes i wonder why some things happen, things like a grown up sexually harr

assing a
nine yr old, especially when there are lots of grown ups wanting and ready to willingly give you sex and even more .
    why does stuffs like this happen? it might be due to the kinda gene the man is carrying , hehe, thats the only pardonable reason i can give for this situation. Because on a normal day , i dont think someone would do such a thing with a nine year old that is not even  sexually mature yet.

There was a mild drama at the premises of the Tinubu Magistrate Court in Lagos on Wednesday as a lawyer was caught fondling the breasts and private part of a 9-year-old.
The 9-year-old was said to have accompanied her grandmother who had a civil case in court and needed a lawyer.
While the grandmother was trying to get a lawyer who would assist her with her case, the lawyer allegedly tricked the little girl to an alley within the court premises where he carried the girl on his laps and started fondling her private part and breast after giving her his phone.








The grandmother was attracted to the little girl after she was seen crying and when asked, she pointed to the lawyer, saying he fondled her breast and also touched her private part.
An eyewitness while reacting to the mild drama said the lawyer was seen walking around the court premises in company of the 9-year-old telling those who sought to know that the girl was her daughter.
The noise created as a result of the incident led to a disruption of court proceedings while the matter was brought to the attention of the Chief Magistrate, K. B. Ayeye.
Following an interrogation by the Chief Magistrate, the 9-year-old disclosed how she was molested by the lawyer. This led to the Magistrate ordering the lawyer to be taken over to Lion Building Police Station, Lagos Island.




A police source from the station who confirmed the arrest of the lawyer said the Assistant Commissioner of Police had taken over the matter.

Uzoamaka was arraigned on a four-count charge bordering on sexual assault and an indecent act.
While testifying in court, the prosecutor, Sergeant Aondohemba Koti, said the defendant committed the alleged offence on August 12, at about 12:45 pm at the magistrate’s courtroom 4, Tinubu, on Lagos Island.




Koti told the court that the 40-year-old lawyer inserted his finger into the girls anus and virginal without her consent, noting that he willfully and without an excuse, committed an indecent act in a public place.




The accused however pleaded not guilty when the charges were read.
   the man might actually be innocent, children of nowadays can be really very bad.

The prosecutor observed that the offences are punishable under Sections 259, 261, 263 (1) and 134 (1) of the criminal law of Lagos State 2011.
Magistrate L. A. Owolabi granted Uzoamaka bail in the sum of N400,000, with two responsible sureties who must be 40 years old.




Owolabi, ordered that one of the sureties must be a lawyer with 10 years’ experience and a verifiable address, adding that the sum of N100,000 should be deposited in the court’s registrar’s account.
Owolabi adjourned the case till September 14 for mention and ordered that the amended charge be taken to the Director of Public Prosecution, DPP, for advice.
DAILY POST recalls that Uzoamaka on August 12 was arrested at the court premises for allegedly assaulting and fondling the breast of the victim.
The suspect was first arraigned on August 13, at the court chambers on a three-count charge bordering on indecent assault by touching the little girl’s genitals and fondling her breasts without her consent.

WHY WOULD A GROWN UP WANT TO SEXUALLY HARASS A 9YR OLD WHEN THERE ARE GROWN UPS LIKE HIM OR HER WILLING TO GIVE SEX AND EVEN MORE????  (COMMENT BELOW)
