Newsfaze: Ex-Ministers confess how they shared N1.1bn during 2015 general election

Two ex-ministers , Arch Musa Sada from Katsina State and Asabe Asmau Ahmed from Niger State, who that served under the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan, have revealed how they handled their share of the N23.29 billion campaign fund.

The duo received the money from Diezani Alison-Madueke,  former Minister of Petroleum Resources, through Fidelity Bank and it was received ahead of last year’s presidential poll.

Vanguard reports that they were among others who admitted collecting N1.1 billion for the purpose of disbursing to politicians in their respective states to influence the outcome of the election.
While Arch Musa Sada told EFCC investigators that he collected the sum of N700 million and handed over to the state’s finance commissioner on the instruction of Governor Ibrahim Shema, Asabe Asmau disclosed that she kept N105 million for herself and handed over the balance to the Peoples Democratic Party in the state.
EFCC reportedly asked them to refund the money since it was taken from public accounts.
The duo are expected to be charged to court soon.

This is a proof of the great level of corruption in Ngeria. Even though I do not  understand why they revealed this , knowing that they would face the court and be punished for their actions. there might be more to this than meets the eye .
