According to
sources, the ATM machine at UNIZIK Nnewi Campus, which was said to have been
having serious solar system damage, has finally been revived from its death. The
damage of the ATM brought pain and slight suffering to the students of UNIZIK Nnewi.
However,
this pain was designed to not last long, as a student by name Godwin Akwuobi
rose on behalf of his fellow students to write a letter and paid a visit to
Access bank, Nnewi branch, meeting with the operation Manager of Access bank,
informing her of how important the efficient function of their school ATM is to
the students and inhabitants of Okofia, which led to the full repair of the
ATM. As at when this ATM was damaged reports reached to Newsfaze that students
had no other choice than to spend nothing less than the range of 450 - 600
naira each time they want to make a withdraw going to and fro town.
Usually,
Access bank transfer money into their ATM once in a blue moon and this also
brings suffering to the students in terms of money withdrawal and
management. However, on an interview
with Godwin Akwuobi, he stated that he would do everything within his power to
make sure that money is filled in frequently as at when due and he also used
this opportunity to thank the management of Access bank for their swift
response.
His words, “I would do everything within my power to make
sure that money is filled frequently as at when due on the school ATM. I also
want to use this opportunity to thank the management of Access bank especially
the operation manager who received me on my visit to Access bank; a beautiful
and a wonderful lady. As we can see, from this swift response of Access bank
towards the problem that concerns the students (ATM repair), it is clear that
Access bank is a bank that really cares for its` customers and the general welfare
of Nigerian students at large and I believe it’s a bank which any person can
bank with without fear or doubt of customer care”.
As the ATM has
been repaired, there is hope of withdrawing money from it once in a while. This
is another art of care for the people shown by a student who cares deeply for
the welfare and rights of his fellow students.
