newsfaze: policemen arrest soldier in kaduna for smoking Indian hemp [PHOTOS]

According to my sources,  A soldier smoking Indian hemp in Kurmin Mashi area of Kaduna State has been arrested by the Nigerian police.
The soldier was trailed to the area by men of Operation Yaki who arrested him while smoking the substance Sunday afternoon.

DAILY POST correspondent, who witnessed the drama, reports that when the police officers
arrived the ‘smoking zone’ the soldier, who was clad in his full military regalia tried to run but was overpowered by the heavily armed officers who arrested and bundled him into their van.

a roadside recharge card vendor by name Zakari said that the soldier has been a regular guest in the area.
“He comes here everyday to smoke”.
“The worst thing is that each time he comes here, he foments trouble.

“If you dare tell to him, he will beat the hell out of you,” Zakari lamented.

Things are beginning to change for the better in Nigeria.

 In Nigeria, even though the military are highly respected for the good jobs they do and for how they risk their lives everyday for the citizens of their country, they use the opportunity to act superior to the law and bully civilians.

They beat up anyone that dare to ask them questions, whether politely or arrogantly, as far as he feels like doing it and the worst part is that after the whole thing, he would go free.

This is a good sign as this is like a message to the general public that NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW, be you military, civilian, a police officer, the president, the richest man, the poorest man, a king.
