Newsfaze : Man who murdered 86-year-old woman remanded in prison

According to my Sources, one Tope Adegbehingbe, 20, was on Friday remanded at the Olokuta Prisons by an Akure Chief Magistrates’ Court for allegedly killing Janet Oyeniyi., an 86-year-old woman.
The accused, residing at Ajebambo Camp via Oniparaga, Araromi-Obu in the Akure-South Local Government, same resident as the deceased, is facing a one-count charge of murder.
ASP Isah Atanegbe,The prosecutor, told the court that on October 23, at about 10.00 am, the accused
inflicted machete cuts on Mrs. Oyeniyi, adding that the action of the accused resulted to the sudden death of the victim.
Atanegbe said that the offence contravened Section 316 and punishable under Section 319 of the Criminal Code, Cap. 37, Vol.1, Laws of Ondo State of Nigeria, 2006.
The Magistrate, Mrs. Victoria Bob-Manuel, ordered the remanding of the accused, pending the receipt of legal advice from the Office of the state’s Director of Public Prosecutions, DPP.
Those that have refused to abide by the law would face the consequences. A murderer is not only breaking man's law but also God's law and must inevitably be punished accordingly.
